ECOMIX is an advanced softening material for the reduction of hardness, iron, manganese and tannins from potable water. The media is regenerated in the same manner as a standard water softener with sodium chloride available as standard salt pellets at any local hardware store.
ECOMIX has the ability to reduce ferrous and organic iron by adsorption and oxidation on the surface of the media.
System comes standard with a SXT backwash control valve internally sized to your specific model flow requirements and a big blue sediment pre-filter that removes sand, grit, precipitated mineral particles, insoluble iron oxide and other debris down to 5 microns.

Media Parameters
