For feed water with a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) level exceeding 100 ppm, the reduction is generally 90% or above when tested directly from the membrane with the tank ball valve closed. While a permeate pump is well-suited for city water, it may not provide sufficient performance for homes relying on well water.
