WECO FC-3800 Reverse Osmosis Booster Pump Kit with Pressure Switch, Transformer and Auto Shutoff Valve (100 GPD)
- Correct low pressure problems or increase production of your existing reverse osmosis water filter system and maintain proper water pressure for maximum pure water output.
- Achieve higher TDS rejection (maximum contaminant reduction).
- ⅜" Quick connect fittings.
- Tank pressure sensor and ⅜" auto shutoff valve included for automatic pump control.
- Includes pump and 110V power supply.
Quick Connect / Disconnect Fittings
Push-to-connect fittings allow for a quick and easy leak-free tubing connection.
Three chamber, permanent magnet pump design.
Self priming and runs dry without damage.
Easily Pressurize the RO Feed Water
Connect your water source to the inlet of the booster pump. Works with city water and well water.
Pump outlet connects to the RO inlet.
Flow direction arrows printed on the head of the booster pump.
Automatic Pump Control
Install the high-pressure sensor on the tank water line.
The high-pressure sensor (deactivated at around 40 PSI) cuts off power to the pump when the pressurized water storage tank has reached the capacity.
RO/DI Water Pressure Booster Pump
Compatible with most undersink reverse osmosis (RO)/ deionization (DI) systems
Most revers osmosis membranes are designed to work with 60 PSI or higher water pressure, where they are tested to yield a stable rejection rate of at least 97.5%.
If the water pressure feeding an RO system is less than that, the system will produce less water and at a lower quality. Additionally, production is reduced whenever the water temperature is below 77 °F. Well systems most commonly have pressurized storage tank and pump systems with 20/40 psi or 30/50 psi on/off pressure settings.
- Adding an electric booster pump increases the RO production rate.
- RO/DI pumps boosts the pressure tank storage volume.
- Increased pressure results in rejecting of more contaminants, cleaner water.
Wire harness for the transformer, high pressure sensor and pump included.
Connect the components following the diagram below and plug in the booster pump power supply to a 110V power source.
- Mount pump to the wall or under the cabinet to minimize vibration noises.
Easy Setup with Your Existing Under Sink Drinking Water Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System
Well water supplies often suffer from low or inconsistent water pressure. Well pumps may not be able to maintain the proper water pressure (60 PSI) required for an RO filtration system. Even some municipal water systems have unsuitable water pressure. If you live in an apartment or high-rise building your water pressure can fluctuate as water use increases throughout the facility. This may cause your reverse osmosis filter system to stop working or work very poorly. If the water pressure is below 30 PSI, the RO system will divert more water to drain than is necessary. The water purity of the filtered water can also decline because the reverse osmosis membrane cannot function properly. The WECO GYC Booster Pump Kit can be used to correct a low-pressure condition or replace a broken booster pump.
The WECO Booster Pump Kit uses a safe low-voltage transformer to provide electric power to the pump. The booster pump increases the incoming water pressure to the ideal 60 PSI or higher (40 PSI at the tank). This water pressure level maximizes the number of gallons produced per day while minimizing the amount of wastewater sent to the drain. The GYC Booster Pump kit is designed in the United States and manufactured with high-quality components that will provide years of trouble-free service.
